- Since we can’t have a tidbit without mentioning the strike, let’s get that out of the way immediately. The LA Times reports that the two sides have agreed to sit down for talks on November 26. Hopefully, both sides will approach the table so blissfully sated after a weekend of turkey and pumpkin pie that they will shake hands, hug, and immediately agree to whatever terms the writers set out. Hey, it could happen. Call it a Thanksgiving miracle.
