He's Jim Robinson for me too. Always will be. Did you see the advert they did, I think channel 4 where they get famous people to say stuff, and in his a random dude came up and said 'Jim, Jim Robinson!' I thought it was a funny in joke anyway, but I'm easily amused.

Jess, really? I've seen him in things where the accents confused me, but it's usually "I'm sure that's him, but he doesn't sound right!" He did a brief interview for Torchwood Declassified where he mentioned it - saying he can't escape Jim Robinson.

Dave, that's a great idea.

I remember the first time I saw the OC in the UK, the whole room shouted "Jim Robison!" when he appeared on screen. I had absolutely no idea what they were on about, of course.

Dave, it took me genuinely a whole season of the OC to realise that was Jim Robinson. The accent totally threw me.

I adore Ugly Betty. It's campy, funny and just works (mostly) brilliantly.

I'm another of the many Bones fans, though I haven't been watching so much recently mainly because Sky and Virgin are still fighting about their TV channels.

Something else that could be interesting to discuss is actors moving from one well known role to another, or from a critical darling to a fan favourite. Kristen Bell from Veronica Mars to Heroes for example. Can you see them as a new character or are they still an old character. Alan Dale, too - no matter that he's been in Star Trek, The OC, Ugly Betty, Torchwood etc - he's still Jim Robinson from Neighbours.

Really, all I watch these days is Lost, Torchwood, Ashes to Ashes (for the moment at least - I'm still undecided) and, erm, America's Next Top Model. Between not having cable and the writer's strike, I've really gotten out of the habit of watching as things air (although it's just been replaced with more TV on DVD).
