>>Solving the case through sudden flashes of psychic insight
Um..I read the synoposis for the Mentalist is that Simon Baker plays a fake psychic, he admitted that he did not have the ability and it was always his observation that lead to solving the crime...
Flashes of Psychic insight should be Medium

Donnie, I'm with you on the Dollhouse excitement. There are a few other shows that I'm definitely curious about, but that's the only one that I really can't wait to see -- and it doesn't air until January!

Cara, the Ex-List looks dreadful, doesn't it? That was a serious contender for this list.

James, I think my issue is how much I love the original UK version. I'm not anti-remakes on principle, but the original is so brilliant that any other version has a lot to live up to -- and I don't think that one does the job.

The Ex-List looks to be a real DOA show with a stupid and rather insulting premise. It is set to go between Ghost Whisperer and Numbers? Who thought up that one?

Honestly, I feel like you can skip nearly all new shows this fall. Except for DOLLHOUSE, which doesn't start until midseason, nothing intrigues me yet. Not even FRINGE. This is pretty weird considering that I'm usually pretty excited in May and decide to try out as much new shows as I can. This year however I don't feel like I want to try any new shows except for Joss's little comeback show.
