Sure, I’m on summer holiday, but tomorrow I’ll be setting my alarm clock and getting up at the painfully early hour of 8:00. What could inspire me to inflict such suffering on myself? Only Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, of course, The first episode premieres at 8:00 am here in the UK, and will be shown simultaneously around the globe. Those of you living on the US west coast can stay up late and catch it at midnight, if you can’t wait another minute for your Whedon fix. If you’d rather not stay up late for the premiere, you can watch it at your leisure on the site. Remember: this is Neil Patrick Harris and Nathan Fillion in a superhero musical by Joss Whedon. I’d say I was dreaming, but the flying monkeys aren’t trying to steal my cheese in the underwater kingdom. It must be real.

Sadly, it’s restricted to US viewing only. I tried this morning and got a “we’re sorry but this content is only available to USA residents!” message. All my usual proxies just throw their hands up at the flash player and give up.
Woe!

Meg, I was just composing a post on this very topic! Apparently, someone screwed up, because it was not meant to be restricted to US viewers. According to the site:
“Many fans around the world have been disappointed to discover the feared message “not available outside the USA” but rest assured the problem is being addressed and we’ll report back as soon as we’re aware of the details.
Never fear, Doctor Horrible will save the day…..err……ahh….. Captain Hammer will save the day? …. well, rest assured, someone will!”
Soon, hopefully.
