Nice choices! I was gonna add V-Mars too.

And to the person that mentioned Lorelai, She never came to blows with anyone, but she's was definitely kick-ass!

But Scully owns all of them.

I will second the love for CJ Cregg (I still secretly want to be CJ when I grow up), Sydney Bristow and definitely, definitely Lynda Day.

I have to second the mentions of Sydney Bristow and Lorelai Gilmore -- Sydney for kicking all kinds of ass, all the time, and Lorelai for being a wonderfully dynamic and successful character.

I also have always loved CJ Cregg, from The West Wing -- I have lots of issues with how Aaron Sorkin writes women characters, but he somehow got it right for CJ.

And the entire cast of Ugly Betty! I don't think I could pick just one woman from that show.

Nice to see Xena/Lucy Lawless get the praise [they] deserve.

I know a lot of preconceived notions are that the show was just 'campy' or 'silly' which it undoubtedly had its moments of (both X:WP and Hercules) but I find it that if you pay attention and have a real grasp of the show, you'll find a few gems incomparable to anything else.
