- After months of preparation, The WB.com is scheduled to launch today. The ad-supported site will stream full episodes of previous WB hits like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Gilmore Girls, and Everwood, as well as new web series, including one from Josh Schwartz (The O.C., Gossip Girl). Of course, until I see that it’s available to those outside the U.S., I refuse to get excited.
- Old news now, but hey, I was on hiatus. I’ve got catching up to do. CBS has announced teams for the 13th season of The Amazing Race, and you can read all about them here. No surprises this time, but lucky us, we get two couples testing their relationship by participating in a reality show. That never works out for anyone. And, by anyone, I mean the viewers.
- Small spoiler for How I Met Your Mother: there is definitely going to be a wedding between Ted and Stella in an October episode of the show. However, anyone who’s ever watched TV knows that there’s a world of difference between a wedding and a marriage, so I refuse to think that Stella’s the mother. This might also be denial based on the fact that I really don’t want her to be the mother.
