- NBC is desperate beyond measure to have an actual, bonafide hit this season and are exploring some new marketing options. The good news is that they’ll be screening a their bunch of shows, including Chuck and 30 Rock, on Hulu a week before their on-air premieres. The bad news is that still haven’t replaced Knight Rider and My Own Worst Enemy with shows people will actually want to watch. Of course, the worse news is that only US viewers can watch the episodes, but you’re heard that rant before, haven’t you?
- The good folk over at Hey!nielsen have compiled preview clips of 20 new shows with commentary from some great television blogs, PV included. If you’re interested in reading my pithy one liners on a bunch of shows I don’t plan to watch — and get a preview of my potentially embarrassing love for True Blood — they’ve also compiled all the bloggers’ comments on one handy page.
- I’ve finally been convinced by its many, many fans to give The Closer a chance, and now TNT is planning a spin-off series. I will never, ever be caught up on all the worthwhile television in the world.
