- Katee Sackhoff has been tapped to play the lead in a new Dick Wolf cop show. I can safely say I would not care about this news in the slightest if it was about anyone else. Oh, Starbuck. How I miss you.
- Kristen Bell, another blond actress with a huge cult following, is getting a juicier role on Heroes. Though she’s only signed for 13 episodes of the show’s third season, her character, Elle, has been given a more detailed back story, including flashbacks that link her to several other characters.
- Panic hit the Whedonverse when it was reported that the man himself has chosen to temporarily shut down filming on the highly anticipated Dollhouse. Apparently, Whedon didn’t feel that several of the scripts were quite up to standard, and rewrites have been ordered. The official word is that the show is well ahead of schedule and has the luxury to fiddle with things until they’re just right. Honestly, so long as there’s a new Whedon series on my set in January, I’m not too bothered.
